Milan, 22.11.2018. The new TRASPOL report on long-distance coaches is available. It contains a summary of the results for the first half of 2018. Created thanks to the collaboration with the search engine Checkmybus.it, the report is based on the sample of prices collected by the platform and describes the profile of the coach users, the prices, the level of concentration of the market, the main domestic routes..

The report shows an overall decrease in prices, of 16% comparing the first half of 2018 with the second half of 2017 and of 6% comparing to the same period of the previous year. Therefore, the tendency to an increase in the average price per km practiced by the companies, which had seen an overall growth of about 50% in two years, seems to be stopping.

The report for the first half of 2018 is presented in summary form in view of important changes in processing that will be implemented as soon as complete data for the whole year are available, following a different methodology to include in the analysis some new detailed data available in the database.
