Recommended read: “Una stima realistica dell’impatto economico dei visitatori dell’Expo 2015” (J. Massiani e G. Pizziali)
It has been just published as a Working Note of the Università Ca’ Foscari of Venezia, a research on the assessment of Milan Expo 2015 effects, by our colleagues Jérôme Massiani and Giorgia Pizziali.
Differently from other studies on the same topic, the paper quantifies the additional effect in terms of expenditure of Expo visitors. This avoids dangerous overestimations that would occur when considering as a benefit the entire net expenditure of all visitors.
